Oprah is coming to Dallas! Oprah – the queen reader of the world – is broadcasting from the Texas State Fair on Monday.  If only she would Tell Two Friends (or maybe millions and millions of friends in 145 countries around the world), we could raise WAY more than $100,000 to teach eager adults to read this sentence!

On today’s show, Oprah focused on women’s resilience and women’s progress in the world.  Oprah – did you know that 774 million people worldwide are illiterate?  2/3 of them are women!  If a mother can’t read, chances are her kids won’t be readers either.  Literacy is the way out of poverty and is crucial for a productive, healthy life.
